Who Am I?

October 25, 2003

I was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, on May 15, 1974. My family moved to Taylor Lake Village, Texas, in 1980. After graduating from Clear Lake High School, I started at the University of Texas at Austin in 1992. I finished with a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering in May 1997 and a Master of Science in aerospace engineering in May 2000. My Master's research and Thesis for the Center for Space Research focused on the study of Precipitable Water Vapor in the Earth's atmosphere as measured by the Global Positioning System. I accepted employment with Lockheed Martin in Springfield, VA in April 2000. After working over three years in Northern Virginia, I moved to Houston, TX, with my wife in November, 2003, and began new employment as a Research Engineer for Lockheed Martin. My current job entails tracking and monitoring orbital space debris, for NASA at Johnson Space Center. I change companies to Hamilton Sundstrand as Lockheed Martin lost the NASA contract, but I still work in orbital debris analysis. My wife, Melissa, and I are glad to be back in Texas!
